What is the source of the data?

Ticketing inventory data is pulled directly from the Universal Orlando website's endpoints. Thrill Data does not modify the numbers.

Does this cover all ticket types?

Short answer? We don't know for sure. The park gate and resort hotels may have reserve buckets. It's possible those numbers are already pulled from the known buckets.

There may be more ticket types available that increase these numbers. Note that capacity is based on captured ticketing information only; capacity values may be lower for some dates because data was not captured before a ticket type or more sold out. Actual capacity is presumably higher than the values shown for the first few weeks or longer, but actual attendance will vary. Think of the capacity listed as "ticket capacity is at least" on a given day. Based on this data set, the highest number of tickets available is 22,000. Actual capacity is likely higher than this, but will never be confirmed. More information may be discovered that changes these numbers too.

Is exact attendance known?

No, this data will likely never be known or released by Universal. The Multi-Day ticket options complicate estimates too because guests choose which day they go within a time window. Some days will be busier than others due to this.

Do Multi-Day Tickets require a reservation?

No, the Multi-Day tickets allow a single day at Epic Universe within a date range without selecting a specific date based on the start date of the ticket. This will cause total park attendance to vary depending on how many or few guests choose to visit (or not) on a particular day. Some days will be busier even though the capacity data shown here may be lower.

What are the tickets remaining and ticket buckets?

The number of ticket types remaining column indicates how many of the unique ticket buckets remain for each date in the table. Currently, 6 different ticket buckets have been identified. If the number of buckets found is less than 6, there are gaps in the data.

What does the "Ticket Capacity is At Least" mean?

For a given day, there is ticket inventory data to account for at least the value shown. That doesn't mean there will be that many people at the park; it could be more or less. Multi-Day tickets complicate the situation since they are not tied to a specific date.

If there are zero tickets remaining, is a day sold out?

If there are no tickets remaining, the public facing ticket channels are showing no ticket availability. Tickets do sometimes reappear again. It is not known if some tickets within the buckets are removed and stored as availability elsewhere (i.e not sold but not purchasble online).

Ticket Capacity seems low. Why is the park so busy?

It's possible there are tickets unaccounted for, more Multi-Day ticket holders may have picked the same day to come, rides may be operating less efficiently or be delayed. There are lots of possible reasons for which publically known data might not be able explain.

Ticket Availability suddenly dropped for each day?

This was likely a failed data capture for a ticket type or more on our end. Refresh the page again in a few minutes.

Can I use this data on my site, article, or other location?
