THRILL DATABusch Gardens Williamsburg is an European themed amusement park located in Williamsburg, Virginia, featuring 10 roller coasters, including Alpengeist, Griffon, & Pantheon, thrill rides, live shows/entertainment, & family friendly attractions including Sesame Street Forest of Fun. Opened in 1975, the park is currently operated by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, and is often considered one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world. Both Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) and Kings Dominion (KD) are theme parks located in Virginia. BGW has 10 roller coasters while KD has 13 roller coasters. BGW is more scenic than KD, and is often considered one of the most beautiful theme parks in the country. Both parks feature a yearly Halloween event: Howl-O-Scream at BGW and Halloween Haunt at KD.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is sometimes referred to as Busch Gardens Europe or Busch Gardens Virginia. Bush Gardens is not a correct spelling for the park.
