No theme park in the world attracts more visitors in a year than the Magic Kingdom, which opened in 1971 as the first Walt Disney World theme park, with an estimated 17.1 million visitors in 2022. However, that means bigger crowds and longer wait times. Lately, May and September have been the best time to visit. See the Magic Kingdom Crowd Level Calendar to help plan the best time for your trip. In the fall, the park is hosts Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and in November & December, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Single day ticket prices vary per day.
